Reliable Garage Door Services LLC is a five person Virginia Beach company led by technician Ryan Gold, who has spent over ten years fixing, installing and teaching other people to fix garage doors.
Ryan Gold came to garage doors from engineering, and it never quite left his method. He started at A1 Garage Doors as a technician, was promoted to tech manager, and spent years training new technicians in how doors should actually be diagnosed: weigh the door, measure the spring, check the balance, then talk.
He founded Reliable Garage Doors in Minneapolis and ran it for three years. In 2021 he moved his family to Hampton Roads and re-established the company here, building it the slow way: subcontract work, referrals, and neighbors telling neighbors. This website is the first time the company has had a web presence. The work record came first.
